What this is

Three hours with a small group of Los Angeles CFOs, working through the eight drivers that separate finance leaders who operate from finance leaders who are operated upon. It is facilitated, it is discussion-based, and the material comes from the room as much as from the front of it.

It is not a networking event and it is not a sales presentation. Nothing is sold, and there is no cost to attend. The format is the same one our monthly meetings run on — which is the point. You will see how the room operates before anyone asks you to join it.

Who's in the room

12–20 CFOs and senior finance leaders from privately held and PE-backed companies in the $20M–$500M revenue range. Industries are deliberately mixed; no sector is over-represented.

No vendors participate in the discussion. Our host is introduced at the open and observes.

Questions

Is there a cost?
No. The workshop is complimentary — a light breakfast is served, and parking is validated.
Am I going to be sold something?
No. Coming is free and there’s no pitch in the room. Membership is a separate question we’d only take up afterward, if you raise your hand.
What happens afterward?
Nothing you don't ask for. Some attendees request a fit conversation. Most simply take the frameworks and go.
Can I bring a colleague?
The room is curated seat by seat, so invitations aren't transferable. If there's someone you think belongs here, tell me and I'll reach out directly.
What should I bring?
A live issue you're working through. The session is more useful when it's applied to something real.
